Iraya Life is rooted in a legacy that spans over four decades. Our story began in 1980 when our family established a laboratory dedicated to the study of Ayurvedic formulations. With a deep commitment to Ayurveda, we sought to bring the richness of India’s traditional wisdom to a global audience, creating high-quality skincare that blended purity with indulgence. Our journey has been one of evolution, adapting to the changing needs of modern consumers while staying true to our roots.

A Global Vision Inspired by Tradition

In 2000, while studying in France, I had the opportunity to closely observe how French industries transformed their traditional crafts into globally recognized powerhouses. Whether it was wine, perfume, or fashion, these industries thrived on a foundation of high-quality ingredients, standardized production, and impeccable branding. It made me reflect on India’s own potential. Our rich Ayurvedic heritage and natural resources had so much to offer to the world, yet there was an opportunity to elevate them further through modern innovation and global best practices.

When I returned to India in 2002, I was determined to build upon my family’s legacy. I envisioned a brand that would preserve the authenticity of Ayurveda while incorporating contemporary scientific advancements, sustainable production methods, and world-class branding. This marked the rebirth of Iraya Life—an evolution that embodies both tradition and modernity.

In 2006, we launched Iraya, a high-end Ayurvedic skincare brand designed for luxury spas. Iraya quickly became a leading Ayurveda brand across South Asia, winning critical acclaim and pioneering the spa industry in India. Over the next decade, our products were embraced by over 200 spas, including renowned names such as JW Marriott Mumbai and Park Hyatt Goa. In 2012, we expanded into retail and online markets, taking our offerings to a wider audience. By 2018, Iraya had merged with one of India’s largest retail companies, marking a significant milestone in our growth.

Our journey has been one of learning and refinement. Through years of research, we have studied global trends in skincare, botany, and natural sciences. We’ve deep-dived into understanding the short-term and long-term effects of each ingredient, ensuring that every formulation delivers high performance while nurturing skin health. Our approach prioritizes potency, purity, and balance creating products that are effective yet gentle, offering a sustainable path to beauty.

In 2012, we took a major step by setting up a greenfield factory, where traditional Ayurvedic knowledge meets modern pharmaceutical-grade production. This integration allows us to maintain the highest quality standards while staying true to our Ayurvedic principles. We have continuously upgraded our R&D processes, ensuring that every herb is tested for peak potency, and our production systems deliver consistent quality.
